Media Consumption: Hereafter
Clint Eastwood once again demonstrates great storytelling with this drama tale about life and death. Casting was amazing and so was the acting. (Yes, Matt Damon actually did a good job.)
I applaud the plot and how the story climbed into climax. I was completely in awe as multiple story lines were disconnected and how things got clearer only after more than an hour of film.
HOWEVER, WTF was with...
My father, the Hitler
Today was LTO driver’s license renewal day and waking up was a bitch because Leia kept on bugging me at 5 am. So I showered at 9 am. Then my dad stepped into the room.
Dad: John?! It’s almost 9:30 am! You’re supposed to be there by that time!
Me: (while brushing my teeth) yeah, yeah…
Dad: I’m serious!! Now you’ll never finish before 12. You’ll end up...
Media Consumption: The Green Hornet
Coming from a ZERO backgrounder on the Green Hornet (Save Kato was supposed to be Bruce Lee at one point in time), I did not expect what I saw.
Action was cool, story was a bit shallow though. Casting was split in two directions.
Win roles were Academy award winner Christoph Waltz as Chudnofsky whose amazing role in Inglorious Basterds gave him the Oscar, played a very odd yet effective villain....
OMG top 10.

Client: “Your portfolio and skills impress me quite a bit. I would really love to hire you for this job but before that I would like to ask you one question: are you from Iran?”
Me: “Yep, I was born there and have been living in America since I was 3. Is it important to you?”
Client: “I am not comfortable working with terrorists.”
EPIC FAIL.

Media Consumption: Tron Legacy 3D
A new twist of Tron with so much philosophical implications. (of course my best friend and I feasted on this after the movie for a good 20 minutes while the rest of the group… waited. )
Jeff Bridges plays his original character in the 80s thanks to CG plastic surgery and its grandpa version. (this was actually quite cool.)
While the rest of the movie was 3D-bonafide awesome, the plot...
Media Consumption: The Prince of Persia: The Sands...
This movie was surprisingly awesome in spite of the numbers it pulled in the box office.
Great story, kick ass cast (always love Ben Kingsley as a villain) and love the plot.
Will definitely get the DVD. Now to Google the lead actress…
Media Consumption: Little Fockers
Little Fockers = DVD movie.
Actually, it’s the type of movie you see in your uncle’s house when you’re forced to go there one Sunday because of some boring family affair and to kill the very slow minutes of the afternoon as you’re wishing you were somewhere else, you stare blankly at a wall of pirated DVDs and see Little Fockers. And then you grab it and go meh. That kind...
